How To Get Here

FROM CHRISTCHURCH: 

Private Vehicle: It is a 90-minute drive from Christchurch to Akaroa via SH75.
Public Transport: Akaroa French Connection bus from Christchurch to Akaroa.

VEHICLE PARKING: 

Park your vehicle at the designated Banks Track carpark at Mt Vernon Lodge (33 Purple Peak Road) prior to pick up. Allow 30 minutes to park your car and return by foot to the pick-up location. 

PICK UP: 

Please arrive at Akaroa’s old post office (80 Rue Lavaud) by 5:30 pm on the date of your booking. After the orientation, we will take you to the first hut.
